Can I register if I am outside the US? |
Of course, but some users might not want to send or buy something from another country. All listings on
our Auction are individuals, and they have the right to accept or reject a foreign bid. Don't be discouraged, many users will just charge extra for shipping. You can also
contact the seller before you bid, to see if he
or she is willing to ship to your location and if they will accept an international payment. |

I've registered but I haven't
received a confirmation e-mail? |
Our system
automatically sends your registration email when you sign
up. There are some reasons you might not have received it. First you should check if your email
system has filters, and
if so make sure our message wasn't filtered out by a mail
filter. Next, you can have your information re-sent to you
by visiting this area: Click
here to re-send your information. If our system
doesn't recognize you, maybe you entered your email incorrectly
the first time. In this case, you can re-register.

Why are some listings bold and others
are in the featured auction section? |
These are add-on features that can
also be added to your listing for a certain fee. It is well worth the extra cost to increase your items
exposure and to get more people looking at your listing. These
features can be added at the time you list your item. |

How can I complain or praise a user when I finish a transaction? |
You can leave a user
good or bad comments by going to our Feedback page.
Once there, type in the User Name, then click the "go"
button. Enter feedback in the form provided. You may
access multiple items for feedback at once by logging into
"MyBeads" and clicking the "Feedback"
link. |

Why doesn't my password work? |
You might have mistakenly entered your
password wrong or you might have your Caps Lock on (Capital Letters). |

I've forgotten my password. What should I do? |
Visit our Forgot
your password area. Our system will e-mail your password to
the e-mail address we have on file. This is for your security. |

How do I change my personal
information e-mail, address, phone etc.? |
Visit our Change
User Information area. You can change all your personal information except your User Name. |

How
do I know if I won? |
Our system
automatically sends the buyer and seller an e-mail when the
auction ends. You can also check on your auctions in the MyBeads
area. Just log in with your username and password HERE
and you will be able to view all items you're watching, bidding
on, and have won. The buyer and seller then are responsible for
making their own arrangements to conclude the deal.
AuctionBeads.com merely offers a venue for buying and selling. We will not, nor
cannot, be held responsible for lack of performance by any and
all parties as we simply provide a place that allows people to buy
and sell. Please do let us know of any problems, however, and we
will do our best to help in any way that we can. |

What if I bid and
I get an error message that my bid is under the minimum bid? |
This means that your bid is below the minimum price the seller is asking for.
Just place a bid higher than the starting minimum price. |

I bid on an item, but it says that I have been outbid? |
This means that your bid is lower than another users bid.
The higher bid will be accepted until another bid is higher.
Usually the other bidder has placed a Proxy Bid. Visit How
To Bid for more information on how a proxy bid works. |

Can I retract my bid once I have confirmed it? |
Yes, but only if there is a
legitimate reason. Visit our Retract
Your Bid area. Note an explanation is required. Fill out the form
and submit your request. The bid may be placed back on the item
by Auction Administrator if we feel that the explanation was not
legitimate. |

I've made a bid on an item, but
it has not appeared in the listing. |
The reason could be that your
web browser might have cached that page. This means that it has
saved the older page in a cache directory on your computer and you are
viewing that older version of the page. Simply click the reload button
for your browser and you should see the updated version of the
page with your bid. |

What
if I am the high bidder, but I haven't heard from the seller? |
Usually there is a
3 day time period in which the seller and buyer must be contacted.
If for
some reason, the seller does not reply to your e-mail, try
again. Please note that sometimes people do have computer,
personal or health emergencies that prevent them from responding
right away. A simple computer virus can stop someone from
responding for a week or more. If you have allowed a
reasonable time then we sincerely regret that the auction
could not be completed. The worst case scenario is to leave the seller a bad comment in our
Feedback
area. Please note that people sometimes do have personal
emergencies. If you notice a seller has an excellent
feedback record, but is not responding to your requests, it may
be a nice gesture to be a bit patient before posting negative
feedback. You can always post negative feedback later on
if the situation warrants it, after you know the whole
story. It only adds insult to injury if an excellent
seller earns negative feedback because of an unexpected hospital
stay. |

Can I
place a bid on my own item? |
No, you cannot. Trying to bid on your own item means that you are not willing to sell your item at that price or you are trying to inflate the price, and is not a good indication of a reliable seller.
Our system does not allow it, and any sellers caught attempting
to bid on their own items may be banished. |

I added a listing, but I don't see it? |
If you received the
confirmation page then your listing has
been added. There is a link directly to the item on the
confirmation page, simply click this link to view your item or
log into your MyBeads
area to view items you are currently selling. |

Can I add more information
to my item after placing it for auction? |
Of course! You can add information to your listings by going to the
item to add the information to and click on the "Add
to/Edit item" link. Please note that once an item has
bids on it you cannot change the description
by removing information from it, you can only ADD additional
information if you have come to realize the need. |

Can I add a picture
to the item I am selling? |
Yes, you can add a picture to your listings by
selecting your picture hosting preference when you fill out your Sell
Your Item page. You may choose to add an item image by
reference to an existing image posted on the web - Example: http://www.yoursite.com/images/mypicture.gif.
Or you may choose to add an item image by uploading an image to
our servers. You can also add your image to your listings by inserting HTML
code in your description.

What should I do if the
high bidder does not want to pay for the item? |
If you have contacted the bidder and
they have returned an e-mail saying that they are unable to complete the
auction then you may want to contact the next highest bidder to see if he or she is interested.
If you feel that the high bidder did not have a proper reason
for not completing their obligation to buy, you may leave the
bidder a negative comment in our
Feedback
area. |

What if I was the
high bidder, but it did not meet the Reserve Price? |
It is up to the seller
to select a reserve price. If the reserve is not met, it
is assumed that the seller was not willing to sell the item at a
price below the reserve. If the reserve was not met, then
there was no winner for that auction. |

How
can I end my auction early? |
If
no bids have been placed, go to the auction item you wish
to end early. Click on the link to "Add to/Edit item". Go to the bottom of the
edit item page and if the
auction has no bids you can end it early. Please note that you may only
do this on auctions that
do not have bids on them. Once bidding begins, you are
obligated to continue with the transaction with the details you
have entered when listing the item. |
